JEWELRY CARE GUIDE
Make it last
Your jewelry is made to be worn - light enough to forget, made to live in every day.
Crafted from sterling silver and finished with a thicker layer of gold plating than standard fashion jewelry, it’s built for daily wear.
Caring for it isn’t complicated. Just a few small habits, laid out below.

A Quick Wipe
A quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth removes oils from your skin — one of the main causes of tarnish. Takes seconds and makes a real difference over time.
Before You Get Ready
Perfume, hairspray, body lotion, sunscreen — apply these first. Let everything absorb, then put your jewelry on.
Water
It’s best to remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or heavy exercise.
Occasional contact is fine, but regular exposure can speed up wear over time.

01
The basics
What to expect
With regular wear and simple care, your pieces will hold their finish well with everyday wear. How they age depends on wear, lifestyle, and individual skin chemistry — all completely normal.
03
What to avoid
Harsh chemicals, abrasives, and ultrasonic cleaners.
02
Cleaning
Use a soft, damp cloth. If needed, mild soap and warm water. Dry completely.
01
Gold-plated jewelry is made to be worn — and with a bit of care, it can last for years. Ours is plated over sterling silver, with a thicker layer than standard fashion jewelry — so it holds up better with everyday wear.
Over time, the finish may soften slightly at contact points. That’s a natural part of how gold-plated pieces age — not a flaw.

Heavy tarnish? Baking soda method
Line a bowl with aluminium foil, add hot water and a tablespoon of baking soda, place your silver in. Leave for 5–10 minutes. The tarnish transfers from the silver to the foil. Rinse well and dry completely. Works well for chains and rings. Not recommended for pieces with stones or oxidised finishes.

Do
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time — but it’s easy to maintain and fully restorable.

All stones
Avoid dropping pieces set with stones — a knock can chip or displace them. Check settings periodically; if a stone feels loose, stop wearing the piece until it's repaired. Never use heat to dry jewelry with stones.
Pearls
Pearls are porous and react badly to acids, chemicals, and prolonged moisture. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each wear. Store flat — not hanging — to prevent the string from stretching. Put them on last, take them off first.
Turquoise & Coral
These are porous, reconstituted stones that absorb oils and chemicals easily. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, and water. Clean with a dry soft cloth only. Keep out of prolonged sunlight — the colours can fade.
CZ & Hard Stones
Cubic zirconia, blue topaz, peridot, and chalcedony are relatively durable. Clean with a soft cloth, or mild soapy water on a gentle brush. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, which can loosen stone settings over time.

Anti-tarnish strips
Helpful if you store pieces for longer periods.
KEEP PIECES SEPARATE
Prevents tangling and scratching.
LOW HUMIDITY
Avoid storing jewelry in the bathroom. A drawer in a dry room works well — a jewelry box or small airtight bag works even better.
Where you keep your jewelry matters more than most people think.

Yes — that’s completely normal. Sterling silver naturally reacts with air over time, but the good news is it’s easy to bring back.
A quick polish with a soft cloth will usually restore the shine in seconds.
Not at all — it’s made to be worn every day.
Just avoid prolonged exposure to water, chemicals, and friction, and it’ll keep its finish for longer.
Reconstituted stones are made from real natural mineral material — crushed and compressed into a usable form. They're still genuinely turquoise, coral, or pearl; just processed differently. Synthetic or lab-created stones (like our cubic zirconia) are chemically produced — real in composition but not mined. Both are legitimate; we use each where it makes the most sense for the piece.
Our natural stones — blue topaz, peridot, and chalcedony — are sourced through established supply chains. We use reconstituted stones for coral, turquoise, and similar materials, which reduces the demand for raw mining by making use of natural mineral material that would otherwise be discarded. Our pearls are cultured in controlled farm environments.
